After nearly 10 years of negativity,there is a new aura of optimism around the Emirates stadium.With the departure of Arsene Wenger after 22 years and the appointment of new manager Unai Emery,Arsenal fans can finally expect some exciting football this season.

Emery was quick to strengthen his squad with the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner (Juventus, free),Bernd Leno (Bayer Leverkusen, undisclosed),Sokratis Papostoupolos (Borussia Dortmund, undisclosed)Lucas Torreira(Sampdoria, undisclosed), covering all areas on the field he needed to strengthen.

Arsenal suffered a lot the previous season due to their lack luster defence.The fall of Petr Cech from grace accompained with numerous defensive errors by the back four have forced Arsenal for another consecutive season in Europa league.
Bernd Leno will provide safe hand between the sticks while Lichtsteinern and Sokratis Papostoupolos will provide much needed experience.

OZIL factor.
Mesut Ozil didn't had a great world cup,but no one needs to be reminded about his stats in the premier league.Ozil has total 50 assists in the premier league in all appearances.Last season Ozil recorded league high 3.5 key passes per game along with 4 goals and 8 assists in 26 league appearances

But his stats from last 5 seasons speak the whole story.Aubameyang scored 95 goals in 125 appearances recording 0.82 goals per game a stat better than Tottenhams Harry Kane.
